Hi all,

Just a quick question regarding the library and its DB.

Does it make a difference whether you use a scraper to build your library or you have nfo and files sitting in the directory? Does one method offer a quicker ATV2 experience or are the nfo and items just imported into the xbmc library the same as the scraper difference is the process is alot quicker?

Theoretically it should read the local data before going out looking online for it. Sometimes that doesn't work. Personally, I don't bother. Overnight does it for me. I wouldn't want to wait for it even if it were quicker and I don't like the clutter of the extra files on my nas.

Thanks for the reply, im much the same dont really want the extra files cluttering things up, but if it was going to offer a speed boost or other benefits I might have opted for it but ill just stay with the scraper.
