Windows Media Player and XBMC
#1
I've been searching around on the forum and the wiki but I'm just not finding the answer to my question. I hope someone would be kind enough to point me in the right direction. I'm running XBMC on a windows 7 32bit computer and store my movies on one Windows 7 64bit machine and my music on another windows 7 32bit machine.

I've been able to add my Movies with no issue and now want to add my music from the other computer. I use itunes for managing my music and from the searching I've been doing it doesn't appear that I can do any sharing of my music from itunes to xbmc.

So I'm guessing I would need to use Windows Media Player to share it out. I'm just wanting to know if there is a guide of some sort that would walk me through the proper way to do this so I get a nice clean interface to my music with cover art and all that jazz.

Thanks

you don't need itunes or windows media player.

Just share the folder that all your music is stored in and add that folder as a source on the xbmc machine.

Then just scan it into the library and your all set.
