When I start XBMC this error appears:
xbmc CApplication Create failed - check log file and that it is writeable
Some possible solutions can be found here: I updated my Intel video drivers to the latest version, and started xbmc.exe with the –p (portable) switch. But the error message remains, and XBMC fails to start.
My Windows 7 x64 machine is member of a Server 2008 R2 domain, and the %APPDATA% folder is redirected to a network share (\\servername\sharename).
Apparently XBMC cannot write his log file to a UNC path?
How can I solve this please?
