Hello all,

I'm using XMBC on my ipad 2 to watch some anime MKV

It plays fine but subtitles won't display.

I tried to play the file using other players and the subs are there (However, other players performed poorly for the 720 and 1080P files).

I checked in settles and everything sure is turned on.

Please help.

Found out that my subs are ASS so no, it won't work on iOS based XMBC.

You're talking about external subs? No idea, but the usual embedded one's work.

I have used a fast tool to import MKV to iPad. You can have a try.
