Hi,
I read many posts about choosing between DirectSound or (exclusive) Wasapi, but can't get a definitive answer L
I'm using an Hifi Stereo DAC, wich supports only 2 channels PCM, and the motherboard's Spdif.
1) If I choose Wasapi, what about playing DTS/DD movies ? Will XBMC downmix the audio tracks, as wasapi don't do it ?
2) If I choose DirectSound, configured for 2.0 and 44.1Khz output, will all my 48Khz files be downsampled ?
3) Considering I'm using only flac for audiofiles, is there a difference between DS or wasapi ?
4) And if some files have different SamplingRate as DirectSound output config ?
