Hi G-Off,

I am getting this blank screen problem in XBMC, first day its worked fine and when I click Video and then Add-on and go down to end of the bottom of the screen then its display Get More.... That I select to get on Get More channels and I can de-select or add more channels or Enabled or Uninstall. This Get More... screen keep displaying blank and there is nothing in there Why?

My XBMC is working perfect but only blank screen and all those listed Add-ons are gone, how do I get this back. When I remove those database and reboot then its coming back to normal.

My XBMC is keep crashing and if start then getting stuck and blank screen and go back to Apple TV main menu and when I remove those database then it start but it won't display when I select channels and then crash and go back to main ATV menu.

Any one please guide if I am doing wrong for installation of XBMC?

My version is 4.3, jailbroken and installed FireCore Black RC1, its not tethered but untethered.

You need to post a xbmc.log, a crashdump and syslog file if XBMC is crashing back to ATV.

1. Update to nightly build
2. Delete the database again

rm -f /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/userdata/Database/*db

3. Start XBMC

You need to tell me what you are trying to do with the add-ons. Not all are compatible with all versions of XBMC.

Is that every addon that you can find? Would you installed every piece of software that you could find onto you computer? The more you put on the greater chance of problems.

Just install the ones you need.

Check to see if the addons are compatible with pre-eden XBMC builds.

I am sorry, I am not that computer savey and don't know much. How do I check to see if the addons are compatible with pre-eden XBMC Builds?

My friend told me to load everything but now I know that there is too many and I do take them out using Get more.... menu side and uninstalling.

You have installed so many things I think it would be simpler and safer to start again.

1. Re-jailbreak
   
2. Reinstall Cydia Version and Upgrade to Nightly build
   
3. Only install add-ons you need and understand.
   

Learn from your mistakes. I seem to be fixing the same problems over and over.

1. Jailbreaking is done and now is cleaned up. No XBMC or any other apps.
2. Installed Cydia Version and XBMC and update new Nightly build.
3. Which plug ins are most important for ATV2 XBMC?
4. I want to watch Movies, TV Shows and Dramas so which .zip files are there.
5. Major Sports from US and Canada, which .zip files.
6. Canada on Demand
7. Free Cable
8. Hulu
9. Icefilms
10. Crackle
11. MSNBC and CNN news channels

All those zipped files doesn't explain where those channels files are hidden so please explain one zip how to find and rest I will find by myself.

My ATV2 is also crashing but problem may be different. I can start watching a movie and between 30 minutes to 70 minutes later ATV2 crashes and takes me back to the source files in icefilms.info

I'm running iOS 4.3 build 8F305 /w Apple TV software 4.2.2. I've updated to the latest nightly release: XBMC PRE-11.0 Git:20111105-1b2b245 (compiled: Nov 5, 2011); and followed every step on the troubleshooting guide. However, still unable to watch a full movie. I never had a major problem before until last week. (XBMC installed through NitoTV but nightly updates installed with Putty)
