I think there needs to be an updated Lifehacker or to the wiki reflecting setup for the latest version of MySQl, latest version of XBMC. Just a thought...

As the notes all over the page would suggest, our wiki guide is a work in progress. When ever I get the chance I ask for people to make a wiki account and help us improve it (and other pages too).
