Hi,
- Apple TV 2 4.3(8F455)
- Windows Home Sever (based on Server 2003)
connections used:
- wireless
- wired
protocols:
- SMB = buffering every 5 seconds...
- FTP (Filezilla) = the same buffering problem
with FTP speed is about 350~900 KB/s
This is (350 x 8) / 1024 = 2,73 Mb/s Am I correct?
Still lowest 2,73 Mb/s shouldn't be the problem and certainly no reason that the movie needy every 5 a 10 seconds to buffer?
So video_ts and 720p, 1080p .mkv files cannot be played without the buffering problem.
Any idea?
I have just installed latest night build from 29-10-2011: http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/darwin...mirrorlist
It seems that XBMC is stable on Apple TV 2 but this problem makes it unpossible to use XBMC
Pictures and Music is working fine.
My other HTPC with Windows Media Center (Windows 7) can play those movies (on WHS) fine.
