Shouldn't this file play just fine?
#1
I've got a Shuttle XS35GTV2 with 4GB of RAM running an OpenElec 1.02 build. It plays most content just fine, but I have problems with some content. Should I be having problems with this file for example? Or should I expect it to play just fine? I've tried every combination of video settings I can think of and I get stuttery jittery playback with inconsistent FPS. Not really dropped frames, the audio sounds all slow motion and the FPS hover around 30, but I notice the file is 59.940 fps. I found this line in the log:
Code:
DEBUG: ReadEditDecisionLists - Assuming NTSC or 60i interlaced content. Adjusted frames per second from 59.940 (~59.940 fps) to 29.970
Why would XBMC make this assumption?

Here's my log file at pastebin. Obviously the 8 million lines with CDVDPlayerAudio:: Discontinuity can't be a good thing, but I can't figure out what's causing it.

Thanks.

Started a new post for what I had here. Two separate issues I think.
