Slow Performance with pathsubstitution
#1
I've started upgrading to pre-eden after a couple of drive mishaps meant I was rescanning most of my library anyway so figure I'd clean up my data and start from scratch pon edens db structure.

I'm hosting main xbmc and mysql on win7 x64 ultimate pc with i3 and running the build from 15th October on both pc's. When connecting and opening movies on the local pc it takes about 7 seconds, on the remote pc it takes around 10 seconds but when I enable pathsubstitution on the remote pc in advanced settings for the thumbnails it the takes 2 minutes to load movies.

The remote pc I'm testing on is a dell e6520 4gig ram with i5 proc, connected via wireless N. There's no problems streaming movies and mysql seems ok as response is fairly normal without pathsubstitution.

I'm unsure if this is standard response, I'd ideally like to use this to save running synctoy on multiple systems.

I've created debug logs of opening xbmc and going into movies then closing app with and without pathsubstitution but couldn't see any issues other than a 2 minute pause so unsure what it's doing then or if anything can be done to improve.

pathsubstituion log... http://pastebin.com/qucUJFAS
standard log... http://pastebin.com/xrixhnRy

If anyone can see anything in the logs or my advanced settings which I can correct or even just advise how long it takes on their machines it's be greatly appreciated.
