Hello I am new to xbmc on apple tv 2. I recently installed xbmc using season pass. everything seemed to work fine. However I am getting the following error.
"service failed service.py" can anyone assist me in resolving this issue?

Probably one of your add-ons. Get us your xbmc.log file by doing this: (be sure to exit XBMC and re-enter XBMC while debugging is on so the log contains a list of all your add-ons being loaded)

What version of XBMC is Seas0npass installing? I don't think the script/plugin support was properly working until somewhere in the nightlies.

It's the TV Guide add-on. Something might be broken in it.

i have the same issue i jail broke using season pass, on apple tv 2 4.3 8F455 and i even reinstalled XBMC and all the Add ons but no luck please help, i tried to rejailbreak it but i can't as the new firmware came out.

You just have to wait for that add-on that is causing the error to be fixed. You can remove it for the time being so you don't get pestered with the warning box.

Don't worry, had a look at the log and could see TV guide showing error. Removed this and no error..
