Your log shows errors like:

ERROR: ffmpeg[E30]: [h264] hardware accelerator failed to decode picture

Try disabling hardware acceleration (System settings, Video, Playback) and see if that improves things. If it does we can have a closer look to see what upsetting the acceleration.

it is the acceleration,, as cpu goes through roof trying to play it without.

side note: the crashing i had fixed self with nvidia finally adding the ion hardware ID to software.
