For about 2 weeks now the Ubuntu Update Manager and Synaptic Package Manager have been reporting 404 Not found errors for the unstable ppa. I switched to the unstable because stable did not contain an Oneiric or Natty compatible build.

I am using this PPA:

http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/unstable/ubuntu

and the error is:

W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/unsta...4/Packages 404 Not Found

Am I doing something wrong? Are the builds broken? As I say, this has been going on for at least 2 weeks.

there is no ppa for oneiric yet.
Just change oneiric to natty in the apt sources file, then it will work.
