Is they're any way to test if a video card is performing correctly?
I just installed a Galexy GeForce GTX 470 and it "seems" as if they're is a flicker issue. But it's hard to tell, because it's so subtle.
It's most prevalent on scrolling text, such as the rss feed at the bottom of xbmc home screen. Instead of a smooth scroll it seems like small jump, like a low frame rate. It also saw this on Batman Arkam Asylum, with it's scrolling text and also some fast actions. When I did the benchmark test for Just Cause 2, I also noticed a few anomaly's, even though the frame rate was reading close to 60fps, It did not seem to be a smooth movement (or at least not as smooth as 60fps should be.)
I originally thought this was a power supply issue, so I upgraded it from 450w to 630w, with the same outcome.
This computer has an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.33GHz with only 2GB of Ram running Win7 32-bit.
Any ideas would be great.
