Hi, is there a way to handle Arabic language in a plugin?

If I use .encode(utf-8) I can print to the log but the listitem is blank.

yes, but you need to use a font with arabic chars..

Is that easily doable in a plugin or dependent on system, xbmc install language?

it needs user intervention. problem is there's no good looking free fonts with all those chars..
