Is there a keyboard key for the favorites button on the main menu screen?
If not, how do I map a key to that option?

I could have sworn there was a key mapping to open the Favourites, but looking at the key mapping file it appears not. Well, there is a mapping for the "Favourites" key on a multimedia keyboard but this isn't mush use if you don't have a multimedia keyboard or you're trying to use a remote control.
However you can add your own key mapping. The easiest way to do this is to grab KeyMapEdit from http://xbmcmce.sourceforge.net/. You need to add a mapping for the action "ActivateWindow(Favourites)". See http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Mod...yboard.xml for some background if you've never done this before.
