Apple TV 2: Mkv files wont play
#1
I've used 2 nightly builds(2011-11-26 and 2011-11-19), and both builds seem to do nothing when I try and playback mkv files. My IOS version is 4.3 8F455, I know months back when 4.3 was first released there was a mkv playback problem but that got fixed, right? I am using uPNP to stream the files.

Should I be looking at a log file somewhere to help determine whats going wrong?

works for me ... post a log (first link in my signature) ... and give some more additional info (which upnp server)

So looks likes its some sort of issue with the metadata associated with my files? Or XBMC is trying to read the thumbnail as a video file?

I am using a Netgear Stora running miniDLNA to serve up my media.

did you reboot the nas? if so please readd the upnp source to xbmc and reboot your nas before ... it looks like the upnp server serves the wrong file...
