Hi all,
This is probably going to be a very stupid question, but I´ve been browsing in the documentation and the forum, but I can´t get anything out of it.
I am developing a script with a Dialog that display an image from an URL. In order to do so, I´ve created a List with one only element consisting in an image whose Thumbnail I set to an URL. I do this so I don´t have to keep track of spacing issues and trust the ThumbnailImageLoader from XBMC do all the nasty stuff.
My problem is that these images might be heavy ( in the order of 2-4MB), so it takes a while to load. In the meantime, I´ve like to display an image to show that the image is loading. Is there any way to do this?
I´ve tried already by setting the INFO field in the XML file and setting a TEXTURE to the default image, but I guess once you assign the Thumbnail, the default texture is not shown anymore.
Is there anything I am missing? Or could I detect via Python when the Image Loader is done retrieving the image?
Thanks in advance!
