Background:
Build dated 28/11/11 on ATV2
Wired connection using SMB to unRaid server.
Currently at work, but will post the relevant logs tonight, but I'm trying to rescan my music library on the ATV (as I'm moving from a small NAS to a larger one) and I'm getting regular crashes on specific folders (I suspect it's actually specific files). I can rename the folders so that I can scan the rest of the library, but I'm getting quite a few failures so this is proving a very slow process.
Initially was wondering whether anyone else had come across this issue.
I snuck a look at the CrashReporterLogs last night and it looks like some exception in libid3tag that is obviously unhandled and crashing out to the main ATV menu.
I noticed in a trac ticket (http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/9130) from ages ago that there appeared to be a similar problem under Linux and the suggestion in that was libid3tag needed to be replaced with something supportable, is this suggestion still valid and is this likely to happen post Eden?
