I am dead set on one of these 2 cases. Mainly for the 3 120mm fans.
But I cannot tell what the differences are other than the brushed aluminum front of the 05 model? Any other diffs to justify the cost increase on the 05 model?

The GD04 has a front cover for your Optical drive, while the GD05 does not. Just for that I prefer the GD04. It hides your drive and you obtain a cleaner front look.

Not sure I see this in the pictures from newegg. Do you mean the 04 has a cover that folds down over the whole face or just the optical drive?

so like Balinus explained, you obtain a cleaner overALL front look....

Yes. It something that you somehow glue to the optical drive.

Do you need all the 3 fans running? maybe one fan will do! nice case btw!

Well not sure if I would need them all yet. I do plan on doing some solid gaming with it.
