but comes up with errors

Apple-TV:~ root# apt-get install com.nito.updatebegone

com.nito.updatebegone is already the newest version.
You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2: Depends: org.awkwardtv.whitelist
Depends: org.xbmc.xbmc-seatbeltunlock but it is not going
to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a s
olution).

Follow the procedure from the top of the page. You have started from the update to nightly build section. You need to install the Cydia version before you can update it. This is written in the procedure.

hmmm
Okay I will try again. I had started at the top and installed Cydia version already - or at least I thought I had. I must have missed an error during that process.

Thanks for your help I will give it a go.

g-off thanks for your help.
I went through the install of Cydia again and noticed an error. I corrected it and I am up and running.
Very much appreciate your assistance.

I posted the following post in Confluence forum now as I am having some set up issues.
Apple TV2 @ 4.4.3 Jailbroken using SeasOnPass
Then followed these steps
http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title..._on_Apple_TV_2
to install Cydia and then Nightly XBMC.
XBMC is installed and a ok.

I have run XBMC on my PC based media center previously so I am familiar with it. The Apple TV remote is something that I am struggling with during setup which is the same issue I had previously when setting up XBMC on my XBOX units.
Anyway.......... I am trying to add sources under Video and do not have the option. I have it under Pictures and Music but not under Videos. I also noticed I am missing Library mode as well.

I tried messing around but I ended up with a mess so I restored and started from scratch.
I'd love to set up my Home screen custom like this
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=76529
any help with doing that the "easy way" would be greatly appreciated.

Finding out now that I have tried Simplicity as well as PM3.HD that issue is with XBMC and not skin as the add source is not available in either of them either.

Not sure what to do. Anyone help me on this one ?

It's in some weird spot, but I thought the devs were going to add it to both places.

I figured it out.
The remote is the biggest limiting factor I just need to get accustom to it so I could find my sub menu and away I went. I rad the wiki pages over and over thinking I was missing something. As it turned out it wasn't a process I was missing just how to slow down and do the process.
Not sure why it showed up under the other tabs and not Videos but I am good to go.

It's come up a lot, actually. That's where it used to be on older installs, too. I'll poke the devs about this, since I could have sworn the decided to have it show up in Videos as well, to avoid confusion.
