I don't have too many bluray movies that require subtitles but they generally are the forced sub titles type. But I've been having a problem with them in that the subtitles flicker or flash so quickly that you can't even see them.
The process I have been following is based on this blog: http://www.mediasmartserver.net/2010/03/...-mkvmerge/
1) Rip bluray with slyfox
2) Use clownbd with the forced subs option checked
3) Use bdsup2sub to convert the sups
4) Use mkvmerge to pull things together
This process actually used to work for me so I'm not sure at what point or at what upgrade of xbmc did things stop working for me.... This is only a problem with my Bluray process... with normal DVDs I rip them preserving their DVD file structure and then just use xbmc to play them back... setting the subtitles on.
Is there a better process to deal with Bluray content with forced subs?
