ATV2 Buffer on just one movie
#1
I have my ATV2 wired and working flawlessly with Lion over SMB (using the macports method) from a streaming perspective .

For some reason, just one movie is buffering and stuttering and basically unwatchable. I have no idea what is so special about this single movie that is bringing my ATV2 to a halt and it is your basic 720p mkv

Attached is the info from media inspector, does anything jump out to anyone that would make the ATV2 have trouble with it

I was talking about silly reference frames "tweaking"
If 5 is good then 16 must be besterer!

16 is a maximum value. If used with hi res video it requires a very large amount of memory to decode.

Your encoder should automatically set it for you to the standard. If you want to be bored you can check it out on wikpedia.
