ISO Playback (DVD + Bluray)
#1
Hi,

I have a bunch of movies in .iso format. I read that XBMC can playback iso format, so I added them to my movies library but it does nothing when I try to play them. I have read others have had this problem, and seen a lot of very detailed instructions to get it working, but according to XBMC it is supposed to just playback .iso files isn't it?

I have read over numerous threads, but I don't want some ghetto rigged setup just to get them to play. Is there any simple way to do this?

XBMC version?
Are they Dvd ISOs or Bluray?

Other Useful Information may be given through a Debug Log.

XBMC does playback DVD ISOs (not BluRays until the next version). We need to see a debug log to see what's wrong. Enable debug logging from System settings, System, Debugging, and restart XBMC then wait a minute or two for all the startup tasks to finish. Attempt to play some suitable test ISO, then when it fails close XBMC.

Open the debug log by pressing Windows-R and in the Run dialog type:

"%appdata%\xbmc\xbmc.log"

(including the quotes). Click OK and the log should open in Notepad. Copy and paste the log into http://pastebin.com/ and post the link it gives you here.
