@razze ask koying if rendercapture is properly implemented for all renderpathes used on android - if it is, boblight should work...

so question for those running windows + lightpack.tv setup. can you determine the FPS you are getting? Using prismatik i am getting around 15-25 fps.

Well not much as I used hyperion back on the pi. But your first post says it should install itself on the first run of boblight.

that is libboblight which is the client part (and as of your log was loaded fine already) - but you also need a boblightd (daemon/server) running in your network somewhere (it must be where the leds are physically connected to)...

Only openelec provides a boblightd addon afaik - but thats oe specific. Normally installing and configuring boblightd is in the scope of the admin...

Reading my first post again i have this topic covered and made it clear that the addon is only the client...

Hi, I have another question. Since i installed Boblight i experience stuttering and skipping when watching HD material. That was not the case before i used boblight. That led me to this post by memphiz:

Reading my first post again i have this topic covered and made it clear that the addon is only the client...

I think I was confused by the boblight.so
Somehow thought that it would be the same as the boblightd.

i run the daemon on my openwrt router which has the leds connected via usb2rs232 converter for example...

Just wanted to say that after switching to openelec 6.0.1 I have no framedrops when running boblightd.
Saw posts from people running weaker hardware then mine with no problems and that made me suspicious.

Well in my case, boblight client with Kodi with an hyperiond server on another host : frame drops constantly (about half of 24 frames, enough to be unwatchable) on HD content, while using a Braswell Intel NUC on OE 6.0.1.

Sometimes solved only by rewinding/fast forwarding a couple of times, sometimes not, even on the same media. Hard to troubleshoot in that case.

Same drops with hyperion kodi plugin.

at this time, when i power on the arduino the 50 leds show RGB on startup, so wiring is ok.

i use a asrock ion330 as htpc with openelec, I've installed boblight demon and kodi boblight addons.

after a restart, all seem to work, for the 25 first leds ...

i've tried some other conf file, changing prefix, etc.
nothing seems to make it work, if i launch a video, it's working, on half screen.

i can't figure out what i've missed here, and hope someone can point me to it .

boblight works 15.2

Please correct , return the library is responsible for boblight
