I've got the original Mac Mini running SL, connected through Airport Extreme over ethernet, and have ATV 2 connected to Samsung TV. ATV receives its signals wirelessly. I jailbroke the ATV2 and installed XBMC. Just starting to use it. What I want to do is to be able to put a DVD in the Mini, and then go to the TV where the ATV2 is connected, and watch the DVD on the Samsung. I shared the disk drive on the Mini using SMB, and XBMC can see the DVD disk and its files. But when I selected the movie file to play, it's images kept breaking up, and I couldn't get past the main menu to start playing the movie. Your help is appreciated.
