I'm trying to setup smartplaylists to filter albums by owner (e.g. mine, wife's, kids etc). All of my tracks have the owner name(s) in the comments field. I can create a "songs" type playlist which successfully picks out songs by owner. But I want to do this at the album level. Many albums have multiple owners hence not just splitting by path/folder etc.
If I create an "albums" type smartplaylist there is no option to use the comments tag field. There are other field options like "Type" or "Label" etc. So i've tried re-tagging some tracks to move the owner names to "Type" using Foobar. XBMC doesn't seem to read the Type tag. Looking at the albums in library view "Type" is blank.
Questions:
1) Is it possible to have an album playlist based on "comment" tag?
2) How do I get XBMC to read "Type" tag info?
