I have a jailbroken ATV2. I am running an Airport Extreme and have a hard drive connected to it. I can play movies from the hard drive with no problems. However, when i set up my MacBookPro i can set up the folder and the see the movie, but it does not play. I restarted, remapped, no luck...

SMB settings and sharing seem to be fine on the MacBookPro.

and are you using a username and password ? as the entries for those look a bit weird (-----%20-----:-------)

yup i blanked the username and password for privacy.

Everything is fine besides streaming from the macbookpro...icefilms, my external hard drive connected to an airport extreme...
