Hey guys! I hope someone here can help me with a little task that I am not sure how to setup myself.
1. I have a HTPC with Windows 8.1 Pro and XBMC 12.2 w/Aeon Nox and I wanna set up the HTPC so that I can remote connect to it from school/work independent of that the it`s powered ON or in Sleep Mode. This is possible right? That way I can shut it down at night and not worry about power ON before I leave my home early in the morning. Would be very appreciated if someone could tell me how I set it up that way. Thanks
2. If possible, I`d prefer to just be able to use the RDC app that comes integrated in windows when connecting to it rather than have to install a remote desktop application like TeamViewer Is this much of a hassle to do? My logic tells me I have to set a static IP on the HTPC and do some portforwarding on the router or something to make this work? If someone could link to a guide or something it would be much appreciated!
