On atv2 should the apple updates be disabled?

In atv1 there was an option to disable it. Is there one on atv2?

Yes, updates should be disabled. Install UpdateBeGone, or modify the "etc/hosts" file to do this, see the FAQ for more details. Direct link below:

UpdateBeGone is now a depends on the nightly builds.

means you MUST have UpdateBeGone installed or the later nightlies wont work (install)

ok... thanks for the clarification.

As I have the latest nightly build installed it means that I already have UpdateBeGone.

Not exactly. It more means, that it gets installed automagically when installing a nightly imho Wink
