[Stutter] H.264 Playback
#1
Dear all,

I notice some stuttering on my setup.
I got a atv2 with 6 dec nightly, and a debian NAS (atom d525).

I run a wired setup and playback only h264 (4.1 profile) material.

I tried a/v sync off a/v sync video clock and a/v sync audio clock

Here's the xbmc log

I think i found the problem, which might help others as well.
I run a 1043 ND (TP-LINK) router, and with its latest factory firmware it causes problems experienced above, after loading it with a DD WRT firmware problems have disappeared.
I couldnt say if atv2 in particular is picky, i had quite good results with its orignal firmware when it comes down to data transfer etc.

If you do experience stuttering with the tp link router try dd wrt firmware on it!
