Aside from the XMBC WIKI which I find sparse regarding info. Is there an "Idiots Guide to XMBC".

I understand a lot of people work on this Project freely, however I believe if "The How to's are dumbed down I would imagine more people would use XMBC.
I'm not an IT Professional, I've read and re-read the Guides and simply get nowhere, since it's beyond me.

I've always looked for those Dummy Guides, or Idiots guide... but alas came to understand Idiots or Dummies don't run XBMC, it's like fine wine... it seems to get better over time.

I find these forums invaluable, and enjoy going over previous issues and messages. It is helpful to know that you'll be able to target your searches in this forum better with 'Google Search'.

A friend once asked... if the program is so good, why isn't it for sale at one of the big box stores. You chime in about it being 'FREE' and the open source philosophy, but the world of suspicion has bred skeptical consumers. I suspect there is two types of users, those who have imagination and try XBMC, they get hooked over time, and those who take a whirl and are put off by the myriad of options and possibilities.
