Hi Boss,
I can get some of this working, but not all?

Radar seems not working.

I am hoping I have attached enough information to enable some analysis?

I do get these, as per screenshot

I am using Widows 7 Home Edition 32 bit,XBMC 13.2 Git,Confluence Skin

Crash Log under
http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=403516

Debug Log
http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=403515

I am sure I have the right radar site in the settings...it is Grafton BOM NSW...I have tied each IDR ( 128,256,512 ) and then restarted a number of times, still no success.

If you can point me to a similar post with a possible answer, this would be appreciated, as I love this app.

Thanks for all your work!

Have you replaced the skin files as per the wiki - http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Oz_Weather ? Specifically see http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Oz_Weather#Skin_Changes

The crash log has absolutely nothing to do with OzWeather and the debug log shows it running fine. I think you just haven't finished the install?

Thank you Boss...I now have it running ok.

My I suggest, for a complete fool or novice like me, this is what I had to do.

Go to the post that boss said, http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Oz_Weather#Skin_Changes
Then go to Download the zip for Confluence in Gotham(via link)
Get the two files MyWeather.xml, DialogSeekBar.xml and put them in a folder on desktop
Go to windows/programs/xbmc/addons/skin.confluence/720p/the delete the two same named files ( I saved them to a separate folder in the desktop in case I stuffed up and needed to replace them!)
Grab the 2 new files you previously saved (MyWeather.xml, DialogSeekBar.xml ) and drop them into the windows/programs/xbmc/addons/skin.confluence/720p.
Close..it self saves.

Start xbmc/weather...all now good.

I hope this helps "thick people" like me, and again I thank the "boss" for all the work to let thicko's like me get it goig...THANK YOU.

Has anyone got Ozweather running correctly in Phil65 version of Aeon Nox? It will run, but seems to be missing a number of features that seem to work in Confluence but not Aeon Nox. This maybe because Aeon Nox is still a work in progress, but I have to ask in case I stuffed up the setup. I cannot get the extended features to run like the radar images and seem to be missing the day tags above the weather temps.

Thanks for any help.

@bolter

re: the text side of it - It will likely be Nox using different labels. If you care to do some digging (e.g. ask Phil65) & can find out what the labels are I can set them.

RE: the radar - that needs a dedicated MyWeather.xml to be made. The MQ5 one here might be a good start for that? http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Oz_Weather#Skin_Changes

Hi bossanova808,

I've just finished adding the radar into the Titan skin weather section.
I wasn't after the seek bar addin so I've only adjusted the MyWeather.xml file.

A pic to verify it's working (and yes it's correct it's raining).

Well that was an experience as I've never used a wiki before.
I think I need lessons Tongue, anyway the wiki page has been updated but the link is back to my space at the ISP. Hope this is OK as I couldn’t get it to save to the repository or whatever it’s called.

Hi There

Top work on this add-on !

I am setting up a FireTV with SPMC fork 14.2 for my parents

I am using the skin CCM (Confluence Customizable Mod)

Previously I could not get radar working under SPMC 14.1, but I have just moved to 14.2 which I believe contains the PIL fix.

I now sort of have the radar working (IDR042) - in as much that is shows the precip animation and the land / sea background layer

any other backgroundlayers (including place locations) are missing.... also the rain intensity bar (which shows on my windows / KODI system) does not appear on the FireTV.

Any help would be greatly apprciated - if I can get this going my parents will be super stoked

I have uploaded a log here http://pastebin.com/HQE00gVN

many thanks

Hey @wazzac

Glad you like it.

Issue is with PIL still, you should get on to the Android folks about it:

Code:
17:47:40 T:1552970504   DEBUG: ### Oz Weather-0.8.0 ### Exception:Traceback (most recent call last):
                                              File "/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.semperpax.spmc/files/.spmc/addons/weather.ozweather/default.py", line 397, in downloadBackground
                                                rgbimg = im.convert('RGBA')
                                              File "/data/data/com.semperpax.spmc/cache/apk/assets/addons/script.module.pil/lib/PIL/Image.py", line 679, in convert
                                                self.load()

                                              File "/data/data/com.semperpax.spmc/cache/apk/assets/addons/script.module.pil/lib/PIL/ImageFile.py", line 231, in load_prepare
                                                self.im = Image.core.new(self.mode, self.size)
                                              File "/data/data/com.semperpax.spmc/cache/apk/assets/addons/script.module.pil/lib/PIL/Image.py", line 37, in __getattr__
                                                raise ImportError("The _imaging C module is not installed")
                                            ImportError: The _imaging C module is not installed

(The backgrounds need to be converted by PIL to be usable by Kodi, whereas the radar overlay stuff is just downloaded and ready to go as is).

Not something I can personally fix, I think @Koying is maybe the main dev on this?
