I have an atv2 running 4.4.3

I tried to update xbmc to latest nightly build using xctechs instructions. Everything seemed to go well except that it did not install a new update, it installed the 12/03/11 update and it erased my video library settings. I and not saying it erased my actual files on my NAS, just the library settings in xbmc.

When I tried to update via the xbmc forums I get an error stating that it cannot find update listed.

Any thoughts?

Sorry for the badly written late night post. Maybe I should read what I write before posting!

I tried the instructions in the xbmc wiki, I wrote forum, and when I got to the command:

wget http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/darwin...r-atv2.deb

I got an error that the file was not found. I'll try again after work and if I have issues I'll do a proper post!

Okay, I officially feel like an idiot. I went back and followed the instructions in the wiki. I did keep getting a 404 not found error when I entered the wget http:// etc. command. But when I cut and pasted from the wiki it worked perfectly. So despite my being careful I am not typing it exactly right.

Also, once it was finished I restarted xbmc, checked the version and all my movies were back.

Thank you so much!!! I had problems with starting XBMC and when I was trying to install a nightly build I got a 404 error every time. And then I read this and I also did the copy paste thing and finally I got my XBMC working!!
