hi all

just converted to xbmc from numerous media players for the great front end.

built a win7 htpc and very happy with playback and bitstreaming using xmbc 10.1 ->MPC->FFDSHOW

However i'm stuck on how to map a button (my sons name LOUIE) on the home screen to access just a folder on a drive with his stuff in (fims tv shows etc)

Hes only 5 and i dont want him to see my library and be scared to death of great big pictures of Aliens and predators and other non 5 year old stuff

can anyone help please

i guess you are looking for profiles

EDIT: reading again, no you're not :-)
Depending on your skin, mapping a button menu with a favorite folder, or a smartplaylist, should do the job.
You can create an new home shortcut via settings > skin
