Hey everyone,

either something is broken, or I am just to stupid.

I was trying to get XBMC to use VLC for MKV files, as I need the hardware accelleration on the ION.

I tried everything in the playercorefactory.xml, but it doesn't seem to work.

Does anyone have a how-to for dummies, how to get that to work?

I wohld really appreciate it.

XBMC supports the hardware acceleration on the Ion. Go to System settings, Video, Playback and enable the setting "Allow hardware acceleration (DXVA2)".
