http://cdzinc.com/32k/albumindex.html

this site consists of thousands of songs you can pick from and just listen away.

my wife loves this site because she can think of practically any song and it is on this site.

most streams are .asx and .asf

are there any scripts out there pointing to similar sites?

that site is hardly legal even though you are streaming the files (not that i'm a lawyer...). apart from that, who "sane" person can listen to a 32kbit file?  Wink

animenfo.com or animenewsnetwork.com

would it be possible to make it like xbmclyrics where it will pull up relevant information for what you are playing?

well, it is in a grey area i would say. i dunno, i just stated that that site could be illegal.

about the last remark in my post, i am sorry if you felt offended by it as that really wasn't the intention, but keep in mind that it was a joke (hence the smiley at the end). i didn't really mean that it matters if you listen to those streams...

that said, my post was rather useless for this thread.
anyways, i don't wish this thread to go off-topic, so i hope we can leave it there...

hi all,

i would love to see a script playing the concerts available at http://www.fabchannel.com ..
anyone know if this would be possible?
at least when viewing them in a pc-browser, they use flash for displaying links to the concerts..
but maybe there is another way for xbmc to get the links?

great site with a lot of good music..

that's the problem!
if people are developing scripts, they will do it for a broad audience. if the site is a pay site it will minimize the number of possible users.
there are also technical difficulties with the login, which probably could be solved somehow. and of course the script author must be a member of that site.

but if you request a free site to be scripted the chances ave much better that someone will do it.

its relatively new - but i hope there are resources there to get this going.

Quote:once you have downloaded the latest version of our streaming software alluvium, you can tune into actlab tv or radio to experience our vision of independent media on the web.
is xbmc able to play those streams, yet?
