updatebegone, in which repository ?
#1
Hello,

Since updatebegone becames a dependency, I have problem to install xbmc.

When I try to install, it can't find updatebegone :
Code:
houdini:~ root# apt-get install com.nito.updatebegone
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package com.nito.updatebegone is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package com.nito.updatebegone has no installation candidate

Tried apt-get update / upgrade countless times with no avail... Even tried to reinstall nitotv (which updated the cydia repository - without pbs) and install from GUI without success...

I think i'm missing a standard repository, but could not find which one. Don't want to rejailbreak for such a stupid thing... awkwardtv repository (re)installed according to the FAQ, however it does not seem to contain this package...

PS : XBMC BETA installed successfully using dpkg --force-depends, and my hosts file is fine (no ATV update problems here). But I would have preffered to use the "normal" way...

Do you know what is the missing repository ? Or can someone give me a list of the standard repositories that are installed by default ?

Problem solved, the "nito" repository was missing. Maybe I removed it at some point in an effort to get a minimal installation.
