I installed the new Eden beta on a Win XP Dell 1501 laptop and I'm having a problem with the volume up key (equals) event constantly firing when XBMC is in focus (If I enable windowed mode and click away, the event stop). I've tried some of the nightly eden builds and there is the same problem.
This problem doesn't occur with XBMC 10.1.

Yup, maybe my typo is to blame for the lack of replies. :/

Your Dell must be generating some odd keyboard messages. The scancode in the log comes straight from the Windows WM_KEYDOWN message. I note that in your log the unicode is set to zero while a real "equals" keypress sets the unicode to 0x003d.

I'm not back at my PC until after the New Year, but once I'm back I can do you a custom build of beta 1 with some extra logging to try and identify the rogue key messages.
