HDMI to HDMI vs. DVI to HDMi
#1
Hi,

I am currently using XBMC in a Windows 7 Dell PC. I currently am using a VGA cable and an 3.5 audio cable for sound to connect it to my TV. My current video card is a Nvidia Geforce 7300L and i was thinking of buying a DVI to HDMI cable to connect it to my Samsung LCD, as this video card has no HDMI output. Will this produce good results? I use this PC mostly for movies and browsing (i never ever use it for gaming). As for xbmc, i am mostly playing 720p movies.
My other alternative that will give me a HDMI to HDMI possibility was this Gigabyte
Will there be a significant difference between DVI to HDMI and HDMI to HDMI?

Thanks!

Thanks TeKo!

Just bought a fantastic brandless DVI to HDMI cable made in China (for 4.90 euros) Big Grin
Works flawlessly!

Whet TeKo said. It is bit for bit identical. It's why you can buy such cheap and small adapters.
