Beta 1 broke NFS streaming?

Mannyman Wrote:As I said before, a small number of my movies will play (<5%) but most will not. All of my videos are using the DivX HD codec.

Can you grab a debug log of a video that will play? This would be VERY helpful in trying to get the devs to fix the problem. I have tried several videos and cannot get any to play more than 3 seconds... most don't even start.

thx!

So is the topic missleading or what? "Beta 1 broke NFS streaming" sounds that it worked before. Your last posts don't sound like that?!?

In my case, you're right. I don't know about the other guys but it never worked for me using the new built-in NFS connectivity. What I'm guessing is that anyone who claims NFS worked before was using Dharma + Windows NFS Client or some other method to mount the share (which I can confirm is a working method for me). Unfortunately, I can't use this method because I am using mysql to synchronize a combination of Windows 7 and Linux (XBMC Live) configurations in my environment and the file pointers in the database break when you go from one OS to the other.

Here is a log of my session, trying to play movies through NFS. I have shown two movies that will not work (40 Year Old Virgin and The Adjustment Bureau), then two movies that will work (Chloe and A Christmas Visitor).

Here is another log trying to play the same movies through SMB. They all play just fine.

The statement is true whether it worked prior or not?

I thought it was working a while back though... it had been a while since I tried it before I got my Synology.
