i have installed and have up and running the software..when i go to a movie however after about 1-2 minutes it begins to lock up....like it is 'buffering' or something. i am new to this..so my question is why is it skipping or locking up? is it my router ( which is located upstairs away from the apple tv ) or is it the software? how does it work? does it download instantly or does it have to 'load' before i can watch?

Need more info. Are you using an Apple TV 1 (silver) or Apple TV 2 (black)? Are you using Eden (v11) Beta 1? Does this happen with all movies? What are you using to host the movie files on your network?
