hi.
i just installed xbmc onto my atv2.
after setting up the smb shares for my movies i wanted to update the database. but i allways get the error, that there is no connection to get info.
any idea what i am doing wrong?

In all seriousness, can you see the files in xbmc after you added the sources?
Is it a dialog that says "there is no connection to get info"? What does it say exactly?

Once the shares are added you should be able to go through file view and see all the files in your share.

i can see the files through file browsing.
but scanning for adding the videos to my movies folder doesn´t work.
it says : can´t connect to remote server

known issue being worked on,

fix = install the youtube plugin/addon and it will work.

it's a bug in xbmc eden beta.
to fix it, install the youtube addon.
