Oh, shame on me, thanks! :-)
Can someone help me get the play locally to work? The movie doesn't play on my tablet after I select play and chose "Play on Media Center" or MX player.

Starting new Beta round with Audio Video receiver plugin support. Control your audio / video receiver volume (and more) directly from Yatse. No more need for hardware remote or other applications.

Your votes were listened Smile

https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/...0190202508 to join beta group and report on this. (And do not open threads there please read the rules).

Currently only a Yamaha plugin is available but API is open source and relatively documented (will improve over time) with a working sample : https://github.com/Tolriq/yatse-avreceiverplugin-api so I hope more plugins will surface for receivers I do not own and can't test.
I am on holidays until the 27th July.

For all Yatse related questions please open issues with logs and details on website.
See http://yatse.tv/redmine/projects/yatse/wiki/Debug for the procedure.

Be sure to read the FAQ : http://yatse.tv/redmine/projects/yatse/wiki/FAQ and the application change log as there's 90% chance that your answer is there.
Back from holidays at Lisbon.

And since I liked this city, Unlocker is on sale at half price for all Portuguese users for a few days Smile

(I've just made the price change, no idea how long it takes for it to propagate to all Google servers)

Does volume control work for Onkyo AVR, and how does one configure UPNP -plugin?
Odroid C2 running CoreElec
Just found out how to configure it. And it works with Onkyo OK.

BoxFreak - I also have an Onkyo AVR that I'll be attempting to control tonight. Can you walk through what you did to get it to configure? You didn't have to dive into the github link next to "Receiver plugin API" did you? That link has a lot to digest for my non-programmer mind. Smile

Thanks for implementing this, Tolriq! Works perfectly.
You just need to install plugin and select it Smile (UPnP for onkyo / Denon / Marantz seeems to works).

There's now a Knowledge base on the Website with articles that I will complete over time : http://yatse.tv/redmine/projects/yatse/k...e/articles

http://yatse.tv/redmine/projects/yatse/k...rticles/21 is the one you seek.
So cool, I think I got my Onkyo AVR working last night. One thing I noticed though (and I'm mainly curious if this is the expected behavior or not):

So I'm able to successfully control the volume up and down with both the in-remote buttons and my phone's hardware buttons. On my receiver, I have a digital number readout from 0-100, and it's usually on ~50-60. I notice that any changes to the volume through the phone (in-remote or hardware buttons) don't change the digital readout on the AVR up or down. Is this the expected behavior?

Also, it looks like whatever volume level my AVR is currently physically set to becomes a sort of volume "ceiling." I'm able to control the volume down, then back up - but never up right off the bat. Is this also expected behavior?

Just curious! Awesome work, Tolriq!
