Problem to find add-ons
#1
I can't seem to find any add-ons. I followed the XBMC manual and clicked on 'add-ons->get add-ons-> xbmc.org add-ons' and in the following screen I get nothing, only the option to go back a directory.
Might there be some connection problem?

I'm using Win 7 and Eden currently, but I had the same problem with Dharma 10.1.

On the screen where you see the "XBMC.org Add-ons" option, highlight this option, press C to open the context menu and choose "Force refresh". If this still doesn't work, post the debug log showing what happens when you try the "force refresh".

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately it didn't work. It says it's buffering but I'm still not getting any results.

It looks as if your add-on database is damaged. Press Windows-R and in the Run dialog type:

"%APPDATA%\XBMC\userdata\Database"

(including the quotes) and click OK, and this will open an Explorer window showing your database files. Delete all files starting with "Addon" then restart XBMC and try and refresh the add-ons again.
