Good to see that Eden has support for rendering 3GPP Text (tx3g) subtitles embedded in m4v files. However I have found two problems so far with rendering tx3g subtitles in XBMC.
First is that, XBMC does not read the tx3g formatting tags correctly. For example Italics in tx3g are formatted with an [i] tag before the text, like in subrip format it's <i>. So in XBMC I see an [i] in the subtitle text , whereas Quicktime is correctly rendering it as an Italic text (see the images below).

The second problem is, the last line of subtitle gets stuck on XBMC playback till the end of the movie, which means XBMC is not reading the end time for the last subtitle in the movie, and it's being shown till playback stops.
Maybe one of the developers will have a look at these problems with tx3g subtitle rendering?
