you could ask the devs behind the urlresolver package:

Someone could confirm me that the app is working on latest firefox or chrome?

The Add-On seems be broken in the latest Firefox (v38).

hmm is this one broken as well?

I need to say that i am absolutely new to this browser addon development stuff .. Wink the only thing you need to manage is to send a post request towards the PlayIt listener. For convenience url & port of Playit & Kodi should be adjustable.

Hey, just wanted to give you quick heads up. The add-on is working really well. Thanks.

It looks like Mozilla addon (PlayIt On Kodi 1.0.0) don`t works with Firefox 43.0.4-1 on Linux 4.3.3-3-ARCH system.
Installation process completed with no errors, but no button or menu item appears.
Could anybody post the screen with functional element in question?
What kind of additional info may be useful to solve this?

Many thanks to developer(s), and looking forward to hearing from you soon.

you could try the Link removed to banned add-on (wiki) repo - DarrenHill
AFIAK you should also create a soft link of your kodi.log file (xbmc.log->kodi.log) to get playit running.
Otherwise you might get strange popups during the start of KODI

Tested with Firefox 45.0.2 and KODI Jarvis RC1 on FireTV - doesn't work.
