[Fiasco]

I want to put one in my bar for SD playback and to use as a karaoke server.

It would be fed into an Audio Authority HLX matrix with the rest of my sources (analog) and the into a dbx zone pro. It would also be fed as a audio input to the stage Yamaha mixer.

Is the minimum atom sufficient?

What 1u rack mount atom PC to get?

If u buy a decent atom u will not even get troubles playing uncompressed HD audio streams So, Yeah! U can use a Atom.
I use a ION330 and it works flawless...
And for the 1u rack.. any type available on the net works great. Maybe a extra cooler or 2 would be preferable because the other devices will also generate a lot of heat. and when your bar is full he needs some cooling performance
