Hi there,

First off appologies if this doesnt make sence, im rather new to this.

I have so far managed to get the .strm files from my HDHomerun (using windows) and FTP them into the apple tv.

I have then added these as a source in XBMC and can view the live streams. (SD only)

I wondered if there were any addons that would allow EPG and PVR functions so that I could record the streams and save them onto my NAS.

You need Tvheadend on your computer first, then you can try the pvr build on your atv2

Is there any windows alternative to TVheadend as I believe that is linux only. I only ask as I dont have a linux system and on top of that my knowledge of linux is somewhat limited.

Alternatively is it something that can be done using a live cd? or does the atv need permanent access to the TVheadend on the pc.

Apologies if that is a rather noob question.
