ip connection refused

Question 
i just installed xbmc and im trying to connect so i can instal the plug ins but when i put ssh root@ and my ip it says connection refused... please help!

Do you have the right IP?

But it might have changed since then when devices have connected. Reboot router/ATV and if still not working and you have checked the the Jailbreak didn't work correctly.

Copy them to the mobile folder then in XBMC go Add-ons -> install plug ons from zip and navigate to the same folder.

Open Cyberduck. Open Connection -> SFTP (SSH) from drop down box -> server = IP of your apple TV -> username is mobile -> password is alpine (or whatever if you've changed it) then hit connect. This should load you into /private/var/mobile. Drop the .zip file in there and then go to XBMC and install it as per instructions from earlier.

when i download the zip files it came out being just a file it might be a program that i have? because i tried to compress by my self but when i install it... it won't work
